Marion Jack was born on September 16th, 1888 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Marion Jack's father was Jepe Kirkham McEwen and his mother was Malissa Jane Bazemore. His paternal grandparents were Francis Marion McEwen and Lena Olive Ransome Melton; his maternal grandparents were William Thomas Jefferson, Jr. Bazemore and Eliza Ann Veasey. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Charles Kirkham, Carl William, Sadie Lee, Ettie Pricilla, Robbie Oresta, Annie Olive, Lilla M. and Edna Gertrude. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 63 on April 18th, 1952 in AL. He was buried in Weogufka Methodist Church Cemetery, Weogufka, Coosa Co., AL.1 1 -
