Julia Catherine was born on January 27th, 1914 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Julia Catherine's father was George Bulger McDonald and her mother was Kate McEwen. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Sherrill McDonald and Julia Ann Spigener; her maternal grandparents were John Kirkham McEwen and Catherine Dandridge Walker. She had two brothers named John Thomas and George Warren. She was the oldest of the three children.General Notes
