John MOCK

John was born in 1776 in Bedford Co., Penn.¹   John's father was PETER MOCK and his mother was ELIZABETH (SAMPLER) SAMPLE.  His paternal grandparents were PETER MOCK and UNKNOWN MARGARET; his maternal grandmother was UNKNOWN CHRISTINE. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Peter, Adam, Paul, David, Christopher, George, Jacob and FANNY.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 68 in May 1844.¹
