Obituary: J. T. (Tommy) LEE
Services for John Thomas (Tommy) Lee, 86, of the Sulphur Springs
Community west of Mount Enterprise, will be held at the Sulpur Springs
Baptist Church Thursday at 10 a.m. with interment in King Cemetery. Born
May 16, 1894, Lee died in a Nacogdoches hospital Tuesday. Survivors are
his wife, Mrs. Ethel Sears Lee of Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Mrs.
Maudine Craycraft of Mount Enterprise and Mrs. Freida Shumate of Corpus
Christi; and two sons, Neal Lee of Corpus Christi and Charles Lee of
Mount Enterprise.
John Thomas and Ethel Lea were married in a religious ceremony on November 5th, 1916 in TX.1 They had two sons and two daughters, named Neal, Living, Mahdeen and Fredia.
