William M. M. was born about 1832 in Madison Co., AL.1 William M. M.'s father was Daniel A. Ledbetter and his mother was Harriett Buford. His paternal grandparents were Joel Ledbetter and Catherine Brazelton; his maternal grandparents were William Henry, Jr. Buford and Jane D. Sherman. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Pascal E., John H., Albert Devotie, Reuben Bonburant, Daniel Littleberry Woodville, Sarah Hannah, Elizabeth C. and Susan Mildred. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died after 1880 in Marshall Co., AL.1 -
