Lydia Ledbetter 
Lydia was born on August 5th, 1777 in Caswell Co., NC.1 Lydia's father was Joel Ledbetter and her mother was Catherine Brazelton. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Ledbetter and Edy Clark. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Joel, Jr., Ephraim, Samuel B., Daniel A., Henry Buford, Edy, Mary Polly and Abby. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 69 on June 22nd, 1847 in Madison Co., AL.1 General Notes
