Burley Bryan was born on March 4th, 1914 in Marshall Co., AL.1 Burley Bryan's father was Edward Gordon Ledbetter and his mother was Lilly Kate DeArmond. His paternal grandparents were Edward Douglas Ledbetter and Nancy Jane Walker. He had a brother and three sisters, named Everett John, Ruby Gordon, Mary Ruth and Lenora. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 60 in August 1974 in AL. He was buried in Panquin Cemetery, near Grant, Marshall Co., AL.1 1 General Notes
