Stella Elizabeth was born on November 26th, 1891 in St. Clair Co., AL.1 Stella Elizabeth's father was Lasley Stewart Kirby and her mother was Nancy Lee Spradley. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Luther Kirby and Malinda Melinda Taylor; her maternal grandparents were Michael Decalb Charles Spradley and Elizabeth Boone. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Lonnie, Amos Napoleon, Lelias Eugene, Otis Edgar, Taylor Herman, Lasley Warren, Flora Elsie, Malinda Mae, Alma Pauline and Ollie Geneva. She died at the age of 11 on January 28th, 1903 in St. Clair Co., AL. She was buried in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 7 miles north of Ashville, St. Clair Co., AL on HWY 411..1 1 -
