Arthur Desmond was born on May 15th, 1913 in Holt, Santa Rosa County, Florida.1 Arthur Desmond's father was Arthur Noah Kelley and his mother was Agnes Cutts. His paternal grandparents were John Shorter Kelley and Lucy Ann Gavin; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson Cutts and Nancy Holt. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Carey Elmo, Olin Aubrey, Delma Vernon, John Fentress, Ethel Agnes, Thelma Alene, Velma W. and Bessie Eunice. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 1 on August 26th, 1914. He was buried in Old Holt Cemetery, Holt, Okaloosa County, Florida.1 1 -
