Charlotte Pocohontas was born on October 19th, 1832 in Autauga Co., AL.1   Charlotte Pocohontas' father was Reuben Elmore Jordan and her mother was Julia Ann Spivey.  Her paternal grandparents were Jonas Jordan and Elizabeth Elmore; her maternal grandparents were Aaron, Sr. Spivey and Charlotte Nixon. She had a brother and two sisters, named Reuben Elmore, Elmira Sophia and Alabama Rebecca.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Samuel W., John Archer, Andrew J., Thomas A., James Alfred, Elizabeth, Lucinda P., Elizabeth S., Sarah Ann, Frances and Mary Emily.  She died at the age of 4 on December 26th, 1836 in Coosa Co., AL.  She was buried in Jordan Private Cemetery located near Kellyton, off Coosa County Rd 65 on the Five Star Plantation with Historical Ann Jordan Lodge; established circa 1836.1 1
