Christilla Jenerett

Christilla was born on November 25th, 1833 in Columbus Co., NC.¹ Christilla's father was Elias G. Jenerett and her mother was Ann Eliza Thomas. Her paternal grandparents were Elias Jeanerette and Margaret Portervine Poitevint; her maternal grandparents were James Thomas and Mollie Welch. She had a brother and six sisters, named Elias Franklin, Margaret E., Alice Adaline, Eliza Jane, Josephine Arthur, Frances Caroline and Julia Ann. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 30 on May 6th, 1864 in Pike Co., AL.¹
