Benjamin was born on September 2nd, 1890 in Crenshaw Co., AL.1 Benjamin's father was John Steward Holladay and his mother was Emma Frances Spradley. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin H. Holladay and Winnie Matilda Brunson; his maternal grandparents were Chapman Levi Spradley and Nancy Boone. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Shorter M., John Frank, Ida B., Clara M., Gretchen L. and Boonie. He died at the age of 28 on January 27th, 1919 in AL.
