Malissa Florence Grimes 
Malissa Florence was born on August 16th, 1905.1 Malissa Florence's father was James Robert Grimes and her mother was Minnie Florence Watkins. Her paternal grandparents were James Shorter Grimes and Malissa Tillis; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Watkins and Mary Finlayson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James Duell, Oris Thomas, Eugene Wilson, Ferrin Hugh, Mary Myrtle, Blanche Gertrude, Lillian Leona and Eva Wilson. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 1 on November 6th, 1906. She was buried in North Creek Cemetery, Florala, Alabama.1 1 -
