He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas William, Stephen Blocker, Samuel Jefferson, John Hiram L. B., Charles W., Jr., Oscar, Nancy Elizabeth, Lucy Ann, Sophia Ann, Mary E., Frances E., Eliza Ann and Elie B.. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died about 1904.
