John Garrett

John was born on July 10th, 1726.¹ John's father was John Garrett and his mother was Susannah Burton. His paternal grandparents were William Garrett and Mary Smith; his maternal grandparents were Abraham B. Burton and Anne Featherstone. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, Abraham, Thomas, Stephen, Charles, Anne B., Nancy and Susannah. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
