Geral E. was born on February 14th, 1923.1 Geral E.'s father was Jefferson Monroe Garrett and his mother was Vestie Griffith. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson Garrett and Martha Addsline Henderson. He had five brothers named Dallas Monroe, Havard W., Houston S., Olen Cleo and Jack Leo. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 1 on March 2nd, 1924. He was buried in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Baker, Okaloosa County, Florida.1 1 -
