Eliza Elifar was born on February 12th, 1869.1 Eliza Elifar's father was John Sheridan Garrett and her mother was Rebecca Jane Fowler. Her paternal grandparents were William Walter Garrett and Nancy Sansom. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William Thorton, John Marion, James Robert, Jerry Thomas, Bartley M., Alford Lafayette, Nancy Jane, Sylvia, Henriatta, Sophia Emeline and Julia E.. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.-
