John Ickes Garn 
John Ickes was born on October 27th, 1833.1 John Ickes' father was Christopher (Christian) GARN and his mother was Elizabeth Ickes. His paternal grandparents were FREDERICK GARN and FANNY MOCK; his maternal grandparents were Henry Ickes and Catherine Hinish. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Jacob, George Ickes, Daniel Ickes, William, Catherine, Susanna, Margaret Ickes, Rachel, Hannah and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.-
