Catherine Garn 
Catherine was born on April 6th, 1828 in Union Township, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania.1 Catherine's father was Christopher (Christian) GARN and her mother was Elizabeth Ickes. Her paternal grandparents were FREDERICK GARN and FANNY MOCK; her maternal grandparents were Henry Ickes and Catherine Hinish. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John Ickes, Jacob, George Ickes, Daniel Ickes, William, Susanna, Margaret Ickes, Rachel, Hannah and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 62 in 1890 in Millersville, Sandusky Co., Ohio.1 -
