William Huston Gardner

William Huston was born on December 13th, 1913 in Grady, AL.¹   William Huston's father was James Henry Gardner and his mother was Sarah Savanah Griffin. He had five brothers and five sisters, named McCrumming, James Franklin, Ray Holland, Graham Pickett, James Henry, Eulebay, Chloe, Annett, Kizavera and Etta Malinda.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.
