Chloe Gardner 
Chloe was born on January 16th, 1897 in Grady, AL.1 Chloe's father was James Henry Gardner and her mother was Sarah Savanah Griffin. She had six brothers and four sisters, named McCrumming, James Franklin, Ray Holland, Graham Pickett, William Huston, James Henry, Eulebay, Annett, Kizavera and Etta Malinda. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 72 on April 10th, 1969 in Phenix City, AL.1 
‌Chloe and Robert Houston were married in a religious ceremony before 1918 in AL.1 They had five sons and a daughter, named Robert Edward, William Burton, James Henry, Roy Houston, Living and Margaret Louise.
