Monterville Flowers 
Monterville was born on February 16th, 1905.1 Monterville's father was David Flowers and his mother was Laura Ella Mae Jones. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Jones and Lousettie Jones. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Jame Daris, Abraham, Samuel D., Walter Franklin, Herschel Esco, Oren Lonza, Rosier Liston, Alta Rosa, Rildy Becky Ann, Vere Lou and Lillie Jane. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
