Laurence Ludlow Elmore 
Laurence Ludlow was born on August 11th, 1817 in SC.1 Laurence Ludlow's father was John Archer Elmore and his mother was Nancy Ann Martin. His paternal grandparents were Archelas Elmore and Susannah Morris; his maternal grandparents were John Martin and Elizabeth Dickerson Terry. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named John Archer, Jr., Morris Martin, William Augustus, Luther Alfred, Henry Marshall, Physick Rush, Winfield Scott, Albert Standhope, James Scott, Susan Elizabeth, Sarah Terry, Mary Martin and Ann Harriet. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Benjamin Thomas, Franklin Harper, Narcissa, Sophia Saxon and Charlotte Perry. He died at the age of 22 on July 28th, 1840 in AL.1 -
