John William Douglas 
John William was born on January 20th, 1857.1 John William's father was Silas William Douglas and his mother was Mason Emeline Trulove. His paternal grandparents were Silas Douglas and Mary Harrington; his maternal grandparents were Timothy Trulove and UNKNOWN Mary. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Abel Timothy, Silas G, James Frank, Thomas Rabon, Archibald Bryant, Joseph Henry, Mary A S, Sarah C, Emley T and Emeline E. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 56 on February 25th, 1913. He was buried in Mason Cemetery, Escambia County, Alabama.1 1 -
