John A. Douglas

John A. was born on March 16th, 1832.¹   John A.'s father was Nathan Douglas and his mother was Bidda ??.  His paternal grandparents were Abel Douglas and Martha ??. He had a brother and four sisters, named Silas J., Martha, Nancy E., Mary J. and Elizabeth.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 88 on December 4th, 1920.  He was buried in Cool Spring Cemetery, Lillington, North Carolina.^1 1 

They had two sons and two daughters, named William Rabon, John Nathan, Mary Ann and Martha.
