James Mason Douglas

James Mason was born on September 17th, 1905.¹ James Mason's father was Joseph Henry Douglas and his mother was Hattie Lee Terry. His paternal grandparents were Silas William Douglas and Mason Emeline Trulove; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Walker Terry and Martha Jane McGowin. He had two brothers named Joseph William and John Henry. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 14 on January 31st, 1920 in Dahlonega, Georgia (school).¹
