Archibald Marvin was born on April 23rd, 1878.1 Archibald Marvin's father was Archibald McLendon Douglas and his mother was Cassandra Augusta Hurley. His paternal grandparents were Silas Douglas and Mary Harrington; his maternal grandparents were Noah Hurley and Sarah Cargile. He had a brother and two sisters, named Otie A., Lillian Amnez and Mary Cassandra. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had two half-sisters named M. Elizabeth and Sarah Emeline. He died at the age of 91 on June 18th, 1969.1 -
