James Harvey was born on July 13th, 1838 in GA.1 James Harvey's father was Joel Dennis and his mother was Elizabeth Louisa McEwen. His maternal grandparents were James Hill McEwen and Martha Ann Snead. He had three sisters named Joyce A., Martha E. and M. A.. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 69 on August 5th, 1907 in Randolph Co., AL. He was buried in Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Randolph Co., AL.1 1 -
