Archie Hendrix Darden 
Archie Hendrix was born on October 30th, 1884 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Archie Hendrix's father was William Stephen Darden and his mother was Sarah Mitchell Carlisle. His paternal grandparents were Uriah Addison Darden and Mary Logan; his maternal grandparents were John Bunyan Carlisle and Nancy Craddock. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William Franklin, Ocie Glive, Dotson, Grady, John W., Robert, Sarah Lavinia and Annie Belle. He died at the age of 49 on February 14th, 1934 in Raton, NM.1 General Notes

"Local and Personal
A. H. Darden, attorney at law, Empire Building, Birmingham, Ala., was
among the callers at The Chronicle office the latter part of last week.
Mr. Darden is a Coosa County boy, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Darden,
of Flint Hill. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama, having
graduated in the law department. He has opened an office in Birmingham
for the practice of his profession. Mr. Darden is a young man of promise,
possessing a fine physique, a strong mind, well cultivated, and the
highest sense of moral ethics and personal integrity. The Chronicle
predicts for the young ma a brilliant future and useful career."" (1)
