Marion Oliver was born on January 4th, 1877 in AL.1 Marion Oliver's father was George Pierce Culver and his mother was Sarah Adaline Kelly. His paternal grandparents were Asa Oliver Culver and Nancy Jane Pody; his maternal grandparents were Marion Kelly and Caroline McGrady. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Elias Henry, George Roman, William Greer, Benjamin Collier, Hattie and Callie. He was the oldest of the seven children.
