George Truitte Culver 
George Truitte was born on January 18th, 1913 in Coosa Co., AL.1 George Truitte's father was Andrew Franklin Culver and his mother was Susan Missouri Bates. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Andrew Culver and Susan Jane Bridges; his maternal grandparents were Francis Marion Bates and Mary Jane Holley. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William L., Roy, Samuel Emanuel, Evie Jane, Lily Sarah, Romie and Gracie. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Leslie and Elise Louise. He died at the age of 40 on December 27th, 1953 in AL. He was buried in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Located in Stewartville Community about 2 miles off US Hwy 231 in northern part of the Coosa Co., AL.1 1 -
