Harriett was born about 1857 in ?.¹ Harriett's father was Henry Castellow and her mother was Silvisa Tarver. Her paternal grandparents were John Castellaw and Jinny Pennie Dear. She had a brother and three sisters, named Geroge C., Mary Louise, Margaret Elizabeth and Lenora. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died in ?.¹
