Martha Jane Castellaw 
Martha Jane was born on August 28th, 1830 in Locust Grove, Henry Co., GA.1 Martha Jane's father was James G. Castellaw and her mother was Sarah Arnold. Her paternal grandparents were William Henry Castellaw and Rhody Brewer. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William Henry, George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Nancy and Mary Ann. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 72 on March 1st, 1903 in Hallettsville, Lavaca Co., TX. She was buried in Mossy Grove Cemetery (Six miles south of Hallettsville, Texas on Lavaca County Rd. 456).1 1 -
