Ruel Bascom Bell 
Ruel Bascom was born on February 14th, 1886.1 Ruel Bascom's father was David Franklin Bell and his mother was Mattie Easter Avent. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Carson Avent and Mary Elizabeth Douglas. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Fletcher Talmadge, Recho Avent, Addie Leigh, Minnie Ethel, Hatti Stella, Mattie Della and Annie Lou. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 on March 1st, 1961.1 -
