Thomas Barfield 
Thomas was born on March 25th, 1778 in Sampson Co., NC.1 Thomas' father was Jesse Francis Barfield and his mother was Sarah Castellaw. His paternal grandfather was Richard Barfield; his maternal grandparents were James, Sr. Castellaw and Sarah Williams. He had five brothers and a sister, named Frederick, Stephen, Solomon, Lewis, John and Carity. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died in Muhlenberg Co., KY.1 -
