Raphael's father was Jacques BEAUVAIS and his mother was Jeanne SOLDE.  His paternal grandparents were Gabriel BEAUVAIS and Marie CROSNIER; his maternal grandparents were Martin SOLDE and Julienne le POTIER.  He was an only child.

They had a daughter named Jeanne.
