Benjamin was born in Frome, Somersetshire, England.¹   Benjamin's father was JAMES BABER and his mother was JANE UNKNOWN. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named James, JOHN, Anthony, Joel, John, Jonathan, Joshua, Jane, Joan, Joanna and Joyce.
