Toney M. was born on November 4th, 1906 in Marshall Co., AL.1 Toney M.'s father was Charles Thomas Anderton and his mother was Martha Ioway Walker. His paternal grandparents were James P. Anderton and Sarah Ann Davis. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas A., Zula, Lola B., Bessy and Daisy. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Everett, Earn, Edward, Joseph Howard, Billy, Ethel N., Lila Dee, Vera Mae, Lula Maude and Living. He died at the age of 28 on March 17th, 1935 in AL. He was buried in Walker Baptist Church Cemetery, Marshall Co., AL.1 1 General Notes
