Billy Ray Anderton 
Billy Ray was born on July 22nd, 1952 in Per, Ill.1 Billy Ray's father was Billy Anderton and his mother was Beartrice Kirby. His paternal grandparents were Charles Thomas Anderton and Betty Gertha Lee Ledbetter. He had a brother and a sister, named Living and Living. Billy Ray Anderton, age 21, of Dutton, Ala., died July 7, at Jackson Co.,
Alabama.
Mr. Anderton was an employee of the Revere Aluminum Plant,
Scottsboro, and a member of the Sylvania Church of God.
Survivors include wife, Robbin Anderton, Dutton; parents, Rev. and
Mrs. Billy Anderton, Rt 2, Pisagh; one sister Anita Faye Anderton,
Pisagh, one brother Larry Anderton, Pisagh; grandmother, Mrs. Lee
Anderton.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, at the Sylvania Church of
God, at 2:00 p. m. with the Revs. Charley Guinn, T. E. Noles, and R. L.
Tyler officiating.
Burial was in the Green Haven Memorial Gardens, with the Burt-Kerby
Funeral Home directing. The Leader Dispatch, 12 July 1973.
