Sarah Jane Adams

Sarah Jane was born on April 21st, 1856 in Coosa Co., AL.¹   Sarah Jane's father was William Henry Cidney Adams and her mother was Lucy Frances Carriker.  Her maternal grandparents were Henry Carriker and Elizabeth Burnette. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Charles, William Cidney, Susan Caledonia, Mary E., Delila Ann and Martha Georgiana.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 40 on November 5th, 1896 in Utica Indian Territory, Bryan Co., OK.  She was buried in Wolf Creek Cemetery, Utica, Bryan Co., OK.^1 1
