Thomas was born on October 16th, 1630 in Kempson, Bedfordshire, England. Thomas' father was William Anscell Carter and his mother was Jane Myles. His paternal grandparents were William Carter and Mary Anscell; his maternal grandfather was John Myles. He was an only child. He died at the age of 70 on October 22nd, 1700 in Lancaster Co., VA.-
