William Harvey Vance 
William Harvey was born in 1789 in Russell Co.,Virginia. William Harvey's father was Abner Vance and his mother was Susanna Howard. His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Vance and Theodosia Hewlings; his maternal grandparents were Abraham Howard and Jane Allen. He was an only child. He died at the age of 64 on May 17th, 1853 in Kents Ridge,Richlands,Tazewell,Va.-
