William II "Rufus" was born in 1058 in Normandie, France.  William II "Rufus"'s father was William I "The Conqueror" King of England de Normandie and his mother was Princess/Queen of England Mathilde de Flandres. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Robert II, Richard, Henry I Beauclerc, Gundrade, Adelisa, Cecilia, Constance, Adela, Agatha Matilda, Anna and Margaret.  He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William I and Gundrid.  He died at the age of 42 on August 2nd, 1100 in New Forest, Hampshire, England.
