Her paternal grandparents were Edward d'Everux , of Salisbury and Maud Matilda FitzHubert; her maternal grandparents were Patrick de Chaworth and Sibyl (Maud) Matilda de Hesdin. She had three brothers and a sister, named William, Patrick, Walter and Sibilla (Sibyl). She was the oldest of the five children.-
