Hamelin of Anjou was born about 1140.  Hamelin of Anjou's father was Geoffrey V Plantagenet [COUNT OF ANJOU] and his mother was Empress of England Matilda.  His paternal grandparents were Fulk V " Le Juene" (Folques V) D' ANJOU King of Jerusalem and Ermengard Du Maine Countess Of Maine; his maternal grandparents were King Henry I "Beauclerc" Of England and Queen Matilda "Atheling" Princess Of Scotland. He had four brothers named Henry II, Geoffrey VI "Mantell", Henry II Plantagenet de Anjou and William.  He was the youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Hamelin, Adewis, Marie Abbess of and Emma.  He died in 1202.

‌Hamelin of Anjou were married in a religious ceremony in April 1164.  He had two biological daughters named Isabella and Susanne.
