John Williams, Sr., who was in Scituate as early as 1637, became a freeman in 1637, and was a deputy in 1640.
John and Ann were married in a religious ceremony about 1610 in London, Middlesex, England. They had two sons and three daughters, named John, Edward, Ann, Lucy and Mary.
