Isabel de was born in 1137 in Lewes, Sussex, England.  Isabel de's father was William de Warenne , 3rd Earl of Surrey and her mother was Ela de Talvas , d'Alencon.  Her paternal grandparents were William de Warenne , 2nd Earl of Surrey and Isabel Elizabeth de Vermandois; her maternal grandparents were William III Talvas , Count of Alencon & Ponthieu and Alice (Alix or Ela) of Burgundy. She had a sister named Gundred de.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother named William.  She died at the age of 62 on July 13th, 1199 in Lewes, Sussex, England.  She was buried in Chapter House, Lewes, Sussex, England.


Isabel de's first family with Hamelin Plantagenet , 5th Earl of Surrey

‌Isabel de and Hamelin were married in a religious ceremony in April 1164 in Surrey, England.  They had two sons and four daughters, named Geoffrey, William de, Ida, Maud Plantagenet de, Ela (Adela) de and Suzanne Plantagenet de.
