Gundred de was born about 1124 in Lewes, Sussex, England.  Gundred de's father was William de Warenne , 2nd Earl of Surrey and her mother was Isabel Elizabeth de Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were William de Warenne , 1st Earl of Surrey and Gundred of Flanders; her maternal grandparents were Hugh de Crepi Magnus , Duke of Burgundy and Adelaide de Vermandois. She had two brothers and a sister, named William de, Reginald de and Ada de.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Robert II de, Waleran de, Adeline de, Isabel Elizabeth de, Eleanor de, Alice de and Maud de.  She died about 1166 in Warwick, Warwickshire, England.

‌Gundred de and Roger de were married in a religious ceremony before 1130.  They had a son and a daughter, named Waleran de and Gundred de.


Gundred de's second family with William I de Lancaster , 5th Baron of Kendal

‌Gundred de and William I de were married in a religious ceremony after 1153 in 2nd husband.  They had a son and a daughter, named William II de and Avice de.
