Waleran was born in 1104 in England. Waleran's father was Robert de Beaumont Count of Robert , Earl of Leicester/Meula and his mother was Isabel (Elizabeth) Isabelle , Countess/de Vermandois. His paternal grandparents were Roger de Beaumont and Adeliza (Adeline) de Meulent; his maternal grandparents were Hugues "le Grand" Hugh "The Great" , de France Crepi/Capet and Adelle (Adelaide) Countess of Vermandois. He had two brothers and eight sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Robert "Bossu", Hugh, Isabel (Elizabeth), Unknown, Agnes, Havoise, Amicade, Adeline, Mabel, Elizabeth and Aubreye. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Reginald de (Warren), Ralph de (Warren), William III de (Warren), Ada, Gundred, Ada (Adelaide) and Adelian. He died at the age of 62 on April 10th, 1166 in Preaux Abbey, Normandy, France.-
