Rohese de was born about 1112 in Hedingham Castle, Essex, England.  Rohese de's father was Aubrey II de Vere , Sheriff of London and her mother was Alice de Clare.  Her paternal grandparents were Alberic de Vere , Sheriff of Berkshire and Beatrice; her maternal grandparents were Gilbert Fitz Richard de Clare , Earl Hertford and Adeliza de Claremont. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Aubrey III de, Robert de, Geoffrey de, Juliana de, Adeliza de and Alice de.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died on October 21st, 1166 in England.  She was buried in Chicksands Priory, Bedfordshire, England.

‌Rohese de and Geoffrey de were married in a religious ceremony in 1129 in England.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Geoffrey de, William de, Maud de and Alice de.
